Second Sunday in Lent

News for Sunday 27th February 2021.

This Sunday’s Scripture

On the Holy Mountain, Jesus is revealed as the beloved Son of God. Yet this beloved Son, like Isaac in the first reading, was preparing to sacrifice Himself. Jesus did this so that a great multitude of people should be redeemed; As Abraham become the Father of the Jewish nation through Isaac, so God became the Father of many redeemed through Jesus.
